Chanticleer welcomes visitors of all abilities and strives to provide a welcoming experience for everyone.
A one-mile paved path circles the garden and provides access to many areas of the garden for visitors using wheelchairs, strollers, and other mobility devices. Interior garden paths vary in surface and may include gravel, grass, stone, and uneven terrain. As a naturalistic garden, some areas feature steep slopes, stairs, narrow pathways, and uneven footing.
Accessible restrooms with infant and child changing tables are available in multiple locations throughout the garden. Benches and shaded seating areas are located throughout the garden for visitor comfort and rest.
Whether you are visiting with a disability, accompanying someone with access needs, or simply planning your route through the garden, our Visitor Services staff is happy to answer questions and help you prepare for your visit.
Please note: Wheelchairs and scooters are not available for rent. We encourage you to bring your own mobility device or hiking poles.
Service dogs trained to provide assistance to visitors with disabilities are welcome. To ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, pets, emotional support animals, and therapy animals are not permitted in the garden.
